Conplant gains independent triple certification

Conplant’s environmental management has been certified as complying with the International Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001:2015 by the independent auditor, Best Practice Certification.

This means that the whole of Conplant’s nationwide operations are triple certified, meeting the International Management Standards for Quality (ISO9001:2015) and Environmental Management (ISO 14001:2015) and the Australian Standard for Safety Management (AS/NZS 4801:2001).

This triple certification applies for the next three years, when re-certification occurs.
Paul Bradley, HSEQ Co-ordinator at Conplant said the certifications were the result of Conplant’s dedication to innovative, customer-focused processes.
“Our triple certification was the result of a lot of hard work from people all around Conplant.

Safety, environment and quality are truly at the centre of the culture here – so to be independently certified for all three is a wonderful validation of everything we work so hard to achieve.

This triple certification enables our customers to have confidence that our high standard of customer service is underpinned by processes focused on continuously improving safety, quality and environmental management performance.’’

How we achieved certification
The Environmental Management certification was achieved following independent audits of Conplant’s Corporate office and our Hunter Valley, Adelaide and Perth Branches, and follows an extensive audit of all our branches in late 2017 when our Quality and Management systems were re-certified.
Our Integrated Risk Management System is now certified under the International Management Standards for Quality and Environment and the Australian Standard for Safety.

About our environmental practices
Conplant is committed to pursuing environmentally sustainable practices.
We seek outcomes that protect the environment, minimise pollution, and reduce waste through an environmental management system that focuses on continuous improvement.
Our environmental and sustainability considerations are integrated right across our operational activities. This includes offering our customers compaction equipment designed to minimise its negative impacts on the environment, implementing waste reduction and recycling processes in our workshops, and using suppliers with a similar commitment to sustainability.

What triple certification means
This triple certification means that our customers can be assured that we are complying with the highest international standards across our whole national business.
It enables customers to be confident that our services and equipment comply with all safety, quality and environmental laws, codes and requirements, and that our processes are innovative and effective, as demonstrated through rigorous independent audits.
